It is sold in a blue label, and so is known as Chimay Blue in English speaking countries, Chimay Bleue in French speaking countries, and so on. Chimay Blue is a very dark ruby brown with a tan head. Huge aroma of raisins, caramel, toffee, sweet cherries, sweet maltiness. Tastes of raisins, toffee, caramel, some stone fruits, a definite yeasty character is apparent.
