Dupont - Monk's Stout (5.2%) 33cl

DuPont - Belgian Monk’s Stout is brewed by the Dupont brewery and has recently been revived using the original 60 year old recipe from the 1950s. It is dry and relatively weak compared to other Belgian beers. As Dupont has extra fermentation capacity now, they have the luxury of crafting some new brews, or re-creating some old specialties. It has a slight tart red fruity flavour with chocolate, liquorice, oak, roasted coffee, vanilla and leather on the smooth finish.
