Hopus is a strong blond beer from Brasserie Lefebvre in Belgium.
Golden blond with malty, floral, citrus and fruity aromas. Five hop varieties give a pronounced hop character, powerful but balanced bitterness and a long, dry bitter finish.
Hopus began as a secret beer brewed for brewer Paul Lefebvre's wedding and was originally called Cuvée des Mariés. Its name combines “hop” with the Latin “opus”, meaning work. The recipe was reworked for the beer's 15th anniversary in 2023.
